Position Summary: Full-time positions responsible for supporting clinical operations at Rocking Horse Community Health Center. The primary responsibilities of these position include ensuring all incoming telephone calls are answered in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner, and routing or scheduling the caller appropriately; and/or greeting patients at the front desk; directing them appropriately; performing check-in and check-out for patients using practice management computer system; collecting accurate information and entering data; verifying insurance and collecting co-pays; using various office machines; maintaining electronic health records (EHR) and charts; general filing either by hand or electronically, including scanning of documents to EHR system; and performing other duties as assigned.

Position Title: Maintenance Person

Position Summary: The Maintenance Person performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled maintenance activities under the general supervision of the Director of Operations. Performs minor and moderate repair of all buildings and equipment; preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; cleans and inspects HVAC equipment; performs minor and moderate repairs of windows, doors, door locks, floors, walls and ceilings, completes daily, weekly and monthly checklists on building equipment, maintenance procedures; performs minor electrical and plumbing repairs; assists with the renovation/remodeling of buildings; repairs plaster and drywall; paints building structures; may operate a computer which controls and monitors mechanical equipment and utility systems; may install computer cable; serves as RHC’s point person when outside contractors are present for more extensive maintenance; performs exterior maintenance duties such as snow removal and grounds maintenance; obtains estimates for supplies, repair parts; orders parts as needed; coordinates contractors for major repairs; orders and maintains operational supplies and performs inventory; performs minor interior and exterior cleaning; assembles furniture and equipment; installs system component parts, office equipment and facility components; maintains vehicles in proper working order; responds to emergency maintenance requests as needed; performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Experience operating equipment used in skilled trades, power and hand tools is required. Must adhere to safety practices, properly handle hazardous materials, and plan and manage projects. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
