Auxiliary Membership
Rocking Horse Center Auxiliary began in 2002 with a group of women who were interested in supporting Rocking Horse Center, both personally and financially. There were 140 members of the Auxiliary during its inaugural year. The Auxiliary created our annual holiday Angel Tree program and helped establish our premier fundraiser, the annual reverse raffle, now known as Fall RUSH. All money raised through membership fees is used toward providing funds on a quarterly basis for programs at Rocking Horse Community Health Center. The Auxiliary provides many opportunities for women to become involved at Rocking Horse. Some women may be interested in joining the group to provide direct service to Rocking Horse by reading to children in the lobby or helping with clerical tasks. Other women may be interested in helping with special events, fundraisers, or outreach events. Many women provide financial support to the Auxiliary through their membership dues. We have a group of women who are currently leading the Auxiliary with a renewed enthusiasm and dedication.
