Substance Use Treatment

The Outpatient Substance Use Treatment Program is designed to assist Rocking Horse Community Health Center patients who suffer from the disease of addiction or struggle with substance use and or abuse.

Medication Assisted Treatment or M.A.T. is the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders.

A combination of medication and behavioral therapies has been shown to increase the effectiveness of treatment of substance use disorders, and can help people sustain recovery.

“Rocking Horse Center employs a wonderful staff that has compassion for the recovery process. Being a person in recovery myself it is a joy to be able to watch others succeed and find a new way of life. Recovery is my passion, encouraging others, talking about the triumphs and struggles, showing people in the community that recovery is possible, and providing hope that a person can enjoy life again without drugs.”
