Substance Use Treatment

The Outpatient Substance Use Treatment Program is designed to assist Rocking Horse Community Health Center patients who suffer from the disease of addiction or struggle with substance use and or abuse.

Medication Assisted Treatment or M.A.T. is the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders.

A combination of medication and behavioral therapies has been shown to increase the effectiveness of treatment of substance use disorders, and can help people sustain recovery.

“The Rocking Horse Center employs empathetic and compassionate individuals to assist in the recovery process. One of the toughest things to do is accept that you are worthy of recovery. I will continue to share my experience to give hope, and to show others that people do recover. One of my greatest joys is to be able to watch someone grow in recovery. I am driven to “pay it forward.””
