Charles “Chuck” Noe is a Certified Nurse Practitioner at Rocking Horse Community Health Center and has been a part of the team since December 2018. He has worked in healthcare, in one capacity or another, since 1999. Starting as a Nursing Assistant and working his way to becoming a Certified Nurse Practitioner, he’s worked in hospitals across the country (Arizona, Connecticut, Nevada, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, and Washington to be exact!) Locally, he’s worked at the University of Cincinnati Hospital, the old Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, and a couple Kettering Health Network hospitals. Chuck was born in Minot, North Dakota and grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and Tucson, Arizona. He currently lives in Dayton with his wife and 2 dogs, a Belgian Malinois and a Weimaraner. His professional interests include diet, fitness, how lifestyle choices affect overall health and well-being, and most recently opioid addiction treatment. In his spare time, Chuck enjoys hiking, biking, and enjoying the outdoors with his son and backpacking, traveling, trying new foods, craft beers, and bourbon with his wife. He also participates in an adult recreational league that plays different sports throughout the year (you definitely want him on your kickball team!) The most enjoyable aspect of his work is the team environment created by all the RHCHC staff. “When I interviewed, I specifically looked for how all the staff interacted. I wanted the support and encouragement found in a team setting. Challenges are always easier to overcome when you’re working with a group of your friends. I found that here” he says.
