Emily Maxson

Emily Maxson joined our Pediatric Team in April 2022 as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and Master of Science in Nursing at The Ohio State University. Prior to her employment at RHCHC, Emily was employed at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in the Psychiatric Crisis Department as the Charge Nurse. Emily is a native of Cleveland, Ohio but currently resides in Columbus, Ohio. Her professional interest includes continuing her work to break stigmas that surround child and adolescent mental and behavioral health. For fun Emily enjoys exploring the Columbus food scene, traveling, spending time outside whether that’s hiking in National Parks walks with her golden retriever, Kluber, or reading in her hammock. Emily also enjoys a good documentary snuggling with her black cat, Kittay. Emily is excited to be a member of the RHCHC team and enjoys the collaboration among all team members to achieve the same goal of going above and beyond for patients and their families.
